The Administration Officers

On Monday the 23rd of April, Bro Archibald Blair our long serving Treasurer became a member of a special band of men recognised by the Grand Lodge of Scotland for services rendered to the Craft and this Lodge in particular. He was invested as Grand Assistant Treasurer by the Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master of Stirlingshire Bro. John McKenzie PM who was acting with the authority of the Most Worshipful Grand Master Mason himself Sir Archiebald  D.Orr Ewing.

Bro. Archie has served today 43 years as Treasurer to the Lodge, a record which in today’s days terms will be extremely difficult to beat. He joined the Lodge in 1962 and took office in 1964 and has been there ever since. The Provincial Grand Lodge of Stirlingshire recognised his achievements  in 1991 and awarded him the Honorary position of Provincial Grand Treasurer for his 29 years of continued service, a record he keeps breaking even until this day.

Bro Archie joins his administration colleague and friend Bro. Russell Hunter PM as the soul members at this current time as office bearers in Lodge 76 with Grand  Lodge Honours. As Russell was awarded the position of Grand Assistant Secretary in 1997 as he himself has clocked up 32 continuous years as Secretary to the Lodge as he took the post in 1975. Russell joined the Lodge in 1961 and took the chair of the Lodge in 1968.
